How to become a member

Becoming a member of the Czech-Japanese Association is very easy. First you need to fill in the application, which is available at the CJA office or for download below. The signed application can also be delivered How to Become a Member

Do you love Japan and would like to become part of the Czech-Japanese Association? Membership is open to everyone interested in Japan and our activities.

Joining is easy – simply complete the membership application and pay the membership fee.

1. Complete the Membership Application

Fill in the membership application form with the basic information required to register your membership.

The application form is also available at the CJA office.

Students applying for reduced membership are required to provide valid proof of student status.

By submitting your membership application, you confirm that you have read the information on the processing of personal data. [Personal Data Processing & Privacy (GDPR)]

2. Pay the Membership Fee

Once your application has been received and confirmed, please pay the membership fee for 12 months.

Standard membership – CZK 700
Reduced membership – CZK 500

The reduced membership fee is available to students and seniors aged 65 and over.

3. Your Membership Is Active

Once we have received your application and membership fee, your membership will be activated.

Membership is valid for 12 months. During this period, you can enjoy CJA membership benefits, including discounts on selected courses and events, special offers from our partners, access to our library and other benefits.

Membership Card

You can collect your membership card from the Czech-Japanese Association office during opening hours.

Please bring one passport-size photograph with you.

Your membership card or membership number may also be required to use some of the discounts offered by our partners.

Renewing Your Membership

Membership is valid for 12 months. Before it expires, we will remind you that it is time to renew.

If you do not renew your membership, it will become inactive and you will no longer be able to use membership benefits. You can reactivate it at any time during the following 12 months by paying the applicable membership fee.

If you do not renew your membership within this period, you will automatically be removed from the membership database.
