Would you like to bring a touch of Japan to your event?

The Czech-Japanese Association provides Japanese cultural programmes, performances, workshops and lectures for corporate and public events, festivals, schools, cultural institutions and other organisers.

We work with Czech and Japanese artists, instructors and experts in a wide range of fields. Alongside our regular programmes, we can also prepare a tailor-made programme based on the character of your event, audience, venue and budget.

What can we offer?

Our programmes regularly include:

• Traditional Japanese arts and culture – calligraphy, ikebana, tea ceremony, origami, mizuhiki and more
• Music and dance – traditional Japanese instruments, wadaiko drums, Japanese dance and other performances
• Martial arts – demonstrations, presentations and workshops
• Japanese theatre – including traditional kyōgen comedy
• Workshops for children and adults – from open activity stations to guided workshops
• Lectures and talks – covering Japanese culture, history, society and related topics

Our programme catalogue is not a complete list of what we can arrange. If you are looking for a particular Japanese art, performer, workshop, lecture or another Japan-related activity, tell us what you have in mind.

Thanks to our network of artists, instructors, experts and partners in both the Czech and Japanese communities, we will do our best to find a suitable solution.

We can also help you design a complete Japanese cultural programme – whether you need a single workshop or performance, several activities for a larger event, or a representative programme for corporate and VIP guests.
