Management of the Association

The Czech-Japanese Association is governed through several bodies with clearly defined responsibilities. Strategic direction and key decisions are handled by the Board, while the Executive Committee is responsible for the Association’s day-to-day leadership and representation. The Supervisory Committee provides independent oversight, and the Cultural and Information Centre team manages the Association’s everyday activities and communication with the public.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is the statutory body of the Czech-Japanese Association. It consists of the Chairperson, two Vice-Chairpersons and two other members elected from the Board. It represents the Association and is responsible for its day-to-day management.

Board

The Board decides on key matters concerning the Association, including its plans, budget and major projects. It elects the Executive Committee from among its members.

Supervisory Committee

The Supervisory Committee is an independent body overseeing the Association’s activities and financial management in accordance with its Articles of Association.

Cultural and Information Centre

The Cultural and Information Centre team manages the day-to-day operation of the Association, communication with the public, courses, cultural events and other activities.

General Assembly

The General Assembly, consisting of the Association’s members, is its highest governing body. The responsibilities and operation of all governing bodies are defined in the Articles of Association.
